Hard rock and blues with a wailing electric guitar frame this lament from a woman who feels left out from the world.

The woman in this song sings the blues: “I thought I found a man who would love me for myself” she complains, while adding comedic barbs about being rejected repeatedly except for what the men in her life want. “Lord, help me rearrange this life that’s gotta change, or I’m always gonna end up alone” she concludes in the chorus. Electric guitar rock and blues licks were performed by Stephen Curtin.

Verse 1: The clouds are hangin’ down into the rosy sunset light
The clouds are hangin’ down into the rosy sunset light
And I’m feelin’ kinda sad about that good time last night

Verse 2: I thought I found a man who would me for myself
I thought I found a good man who would me for myself
But he just tasted some of my lovin’
And put me back up on the shelf

Chorus: I always seem to end up bein’ the other woman
I always seem to end up bein’ the other woman
Lord, help me rearrange this life that’s gotta change
Or I’m always gonna end up alone!

Verse 3: One man told me stories about his jealous, naggin’ wife
This man, he told me stories about his jealous, naggin’ wife
Then he tells me his steady girlfriend
Is wantin’ more and more of his life
